Brethren Pension Plan Overview

The Church of the Brethren Pension Plan has been providing a dependable, well-managed service of retirement benefits, since it was established in 1943. It is available to ministers and lay employees of the Church of the Brethren and its agencies. 

Currently, the Church of the Brethren
Pension Plan's membership totals
approximately 4,200 members and
the plan has assets over $300 million. 

The Active Lives Account has assets
over $180 million with 2,900 active/
vested members.
The Retirement Benefits Fund has $120 million in assets and provides more than $1 million in monthly benefits to the 1,300 retirees and surviving spouses in the plan.
